The Legend Of The Revenge of Nalvillos

Revenge of Nalvillos is a Spanish legend of the Middle Ages, in a historical context that includes the relationship of Alfonso VI of León with Al-Mamun, king of Toledo mid-eleventh century, the Alfonso conquest of Toledo in 1085 and the subsequent capture of the town of Talavera (conquered by Christians in the first instance in 1083) due to Almorávide pressure (Almoravide were a Berber dynasty of Morocco, who formed an empire in the 11th century that stretched over the western Maghreb and Al-Andalus).
